Literally meaning 'the Golden Citadel', Dawang Tarmak is the fabled palace of Naklan the Golden. Its gilded walls and opulent chambers have long served as a potent symbol of power and authority for whoever holds it, and ambitious warlords have often secured it as their center of power.
The citadel would suffer severe damage however in the aftermath of the Ratarakaw, and earthquakes turned the structure into a golden tomb for the would-be ruler that occupied it.
