Gehaze Lake (building)
Set deep in the mangroves of the Rojihlat, Gehaze is a desolate place in a lush and thick land. The colorful mangroves that characterize the region are pale and dead, and any animal that drinks from the lake's waters dies a horrible death. The natives of the area say that the waters of the place are magically potent and can be used as a base for potions, although few have been brave enough to try it.
The danger of the lake comes from the great Tower at its center. Known as the Ralkshoarch to the locals, it is surrounded, as is typical of its kind, by a deadly magical field, capable of killing all those around it. And it has a unique feature, a breach on its eastern side, from which a gelatinous substance of a deep purple color gushes out and infects the waters of the lake. Some Magi have attempted to investigate the breach using distant vision spells, however, these attempts always end in disaster. Such attempts always end with the Magi's vocal cords breaking as he speaks in a forgotten tongue, followed by drowning in his own blood while his companions writhe on the ground vomiting the strange purple substance, much like that of the tower itself. Tests on the substance yield inconclusive results, as it turns out to react differently with each person, causing unpredictable diseases.
