The 'Home of Great Monarchs' is the traditional seat of the ancient kings of the Konijkmener. After the Popular Revolution, much of the palace's interior was repurposed for the new ruling council of the nobility and to house the vast bureaucracy that sprung up around them.
In the back of the Palace, the former ruling dynasty is still allowed their suite, technically as wealthy renters as opposed to reigning monarchs. A much greater, lavish, and modern suite was built directly above it from which the Chancellor of the Konijkmener lives.
