In the time since the Etami Tetenik, the Irōchi Damotada has maintained much of its importance, with countless caravans laden with treasures passing through its gates. Though the structure has certainly seen better days, and its garrison is only barely sufficient to make use of its military value, it still provides the trade cities of Sokoi with a valuable chokepoint. Even the library, though not as well-stocked as it once was, still hosts an impressive trove of knowledge.
