Towers of Pytheceas (building)
Across the shores from the Pytheceas, timeless edifices rise from the sea, remnants of an alien metropolis swallowed by the waves, its builders long since forgotten. The most notable structures among the ruins are a series of moss-covered towers of varying heights. While some have been entirely submerged, lost beneath the sea along with the city’s majority, many of them remain accessible through their upper levels. Their sheer magnitude and black stone architecture stand in stark contrast to the, in comparison, primitive constructions of island settlements, inspiring myths of ancient creators and a lost age of glory. Looted and emptied over a thousand years, the original purpose and meaning of the towers are lost to time. Reclaimed by islanders, they now serve as holy shrines and residences for the elite.
