Water Gardens of De Illiterat (building)
Empowered by a history of privileges and the prestige of ancient blood, the most notable houses of De Illiterat have long felt comfortable demonstrating their wealth and power to the people of the Isles. None of their possessions or extravagant titles however is seen as more prestigious than the decadent water gardens of De Illiterat, a central feature of the many manors and palaces that cover the isles countryside. Through tremendous labour, rivers and lakes have been carved into the island’s rocky face, surrounded by paved paths and luscious parks featuring imported flora and fauna, all cared for by the many servants of the local nobility.
