Cantrip (concept)
A cantrip refers to any kind of Magical act that does not require elaborate preparation to cast and can therefore be performed on the fly. Unlike Rituals, which need to be actively casted and usually impart powerful but temporary effects, cantrips instead provide a permanent passive bonus (usually scaling with the character's Magic Baseline and relevant Aspect skill) as soon as they are learned, most often as part of a Lifestyle Perk.
