Töragei Khatan (concept)
Töragei Khatan was the only child of Otached’s concubine Urdu, born almost a year after the great conqueror's death in 318 IS. Struck by a Gederða while still in his mother's womb, Töragei was born completely eyeless—naught but skin and bone where they should have been—yet he could still see, hunt, and war like any other man.
Shunned by the royal Otacheidans for his disputed heritage, Töragei was cast out from their sight and their courts, exiled from the empire and forced to eke out an existence in the realms beyond Kashirya as a sellsword and adventurer. It was not until the chaos of the Five Brothers' War that he, now an accomplished mercenary-lord, was invited back by Baytor to aid the latter triumph over his siblings and ascend to the imperial throne.
In the wake of the disaster of Bayyuralar and Baytor's death, Töragei, having reunited with his mother's clan, has led them across the Kasiryat into Amaghea, carving out a new realm for his kin.
