Töragei Khatir (concept)

Töragei Khatir was the only child of Otached’s concubine Urdu, born almost a year after the great conqueror's death in 318 IS. Struck by a Gederða while still in his mother's womb, Töragei was born completely eyeless—naught but skin and bone where they should have been—yet he could still see, hunt, and war like any other man.

Shunned by the royal Otacheidans for his disputed heritage, Töragei was cast out from their sight and their courts, eventually finding refuge among the withdrawn heritage_kikarsag clans who saw his eyelessness as a mark of divinity. Already viewed with suspicion and hostility by their Ölteni brethren, harboring an exile became a convenient pretext for the latter to launch a campaign of persecution, forcing the Kikarsag—and Töragei with them—to flee.

In the decades that followed, Töragei, having risen to lead the clans, guided them across Aironoi and into Continental Interior, securing a place for the Kikarsag to settle but inadvertently placing them on the future frontlines of the Kartharaddi Wars.
