Arashan (culture)
The Arashani are often thought to be specters, mirages of the rocky desert that is their home, appearing as suddenly as a gust of arid wind to strike unsuspecting caravans before vanishing the next moment. The truth, however, is far from fiction, as the Arashan are people of flesh and blood, dwelling in pit-house settlements hidden from the prying eyes of outsiders. There, they celebrate successful raids with grand feasts and dances of flying axes, boisterously recounting past victories and feats of martial prowess to earn prestige and gain approval from their peers.
