Not all Monderrn were enslaved by the Aversarians without resistance. Some, holding to a different religious creed altogether, attempted to make a stand. It was a futile effort, for even the belligerent followers of the Dethedklann Accord were unused to warfare as the Aversarians knew it, and they were soon forced to take flight. Fighting a running guerilla battle through the trackless forests of Katraddia, the people who would come to call themselves the Drotherrn were forged in a generations-long trial by fire.
