Huegodoc (culture)
A cosmopolitan culture hailing from the territories on the far side of the Grey Gates, the Huegodocs dwelt in a number of prosperous towns and cities along the Great River, collecting lucrative tolls and farming the rich soil. When the Aversarian arrived they were lucky and shrewd enough to negotiate a relatively favorable deal for peace; non-citizen subjects, but still free men and women.
They were well on their way to assimilation within Aversarian culture, and had a few more generations passed may have become almost indistinguishable from their Apokiakas neighbors when the Frodbrokna struck Aeras. When it became clear that any Aversarian efforts to rescue the local population from the encroaching Fog were inadequate to save their local allies, the Huegodoc chose to throw in their lot with Cenware's coalition.
