Truly, there was never a greater time to be Aversarian!
Though the enemies of humanity had tried to destroy the empire half a century ago with their foul barbarian magic, we are nothing but stronger for it! Granted, there are reports of some minor civil unrest in certain imperial prefectures, the arrogant Sjalvolki have been making increasingly brazen raids across the border as of late, and have even managed to rout a border militia at the Elysian skirmish, but the Aautokrata has prevailed over far worse. But it is undisputed among all but traitors - Aversaria is entering a new golden age. Why, the undisputed, glorious Aautokratir Dexios himself has assured me from his correspondence from Oraispol - he rallies loyal forces across the empire, and is preparing a massive counterattack that will see all traitors and barbarians destroyed for a hundred eternities!
And where will I be in this age of glory? Ever since the great Aautokratia Axiaothea granted my ancient dynasty the solemn duty to guard the east a thousand generations ago, we have unerringly protected the empire from inhuman hordes of the forces of darkness beyond count. I will do my part in subduing the treasonous horse lords, and perhaps even expand Aversarian rule to the wastes of Kashirya - or even Katrunkiai! After all, it is what any true Aagiokratan would do. And after that, surely an imperial promotion to the governor of Aironoi, and one day, maybe even higher...
