An Undying Crusade (event)
Character: King Bhramkarod Mavsoor of Adlurbad
A candlelight casts haggard shadows across the obsidian-brick walls of an abandoned dungeon. Some of the shadows whisper — and then some of them shriek.
'Twelve' I remember suddenly. Twelve frail bodies, mine included, let out screams of such bestial ferocity that a piece of our mind, our innocence and our sanity wash away as well. For what purpose? What rationale could these Daramarjaratan savages have had that required the theft of twelve children from their families — to be locked up in this obsidian prison; to be bled slowly and painfully, physically and mentally? Alas, eleven of them would never have the chance to know.
Only I remain. A broken man carrying an unbroken vow — To purge the lands of this scourge, for I will never rest until all my enemies lie six feet deep writhing in their graves. And I am so close to my goal. Only one realm remains — Kasni. But trouble stirs at home too. My vassal subjects lack my zeal and my generals conspire against me. Let them try. On the name given to me, the 'Scourge of Death', I swear that no one shall stop me.
Let. Them. Try.
