Character: Duke Azhela Lelka of Sahatē
Since I was but a child, growing up on a neglected farm at the edge of the jungle, I have felt something special. Something powerful. In older days, my power would have been found, and I would have been sent to serve the Boqqarut, to serve without hope of truly wielding power. But those times are not now.
Training myself through trial and error, I learned songs which I would never have learned in those olden days, learned to tap into the rythmns of life and death. With my talents, I set out in the world, leaving the pitiful shack I had lived in for the court of a nearby Golka, an old fool who believed I could help him take power. His foolishness was repaid with a knife, and I seized control of his realm, rapidly expanding into the collapsing kingdom of Dihalēt. Once, I would have been merely another Magi, condemned to spend my life in service.
But now, they will see true power.
