The Hand that Bites (event)
Character: Count Yayati Bhaljavgan of Appi
They call me 'the Hand that Bites' behind my back. They snicker in the streets when I pass, whisper in the halls about my empty heart and my cold eyes. Once, Kafasali was mine, clay to be sculpted in my hands. My kingdom was to eclipse even the Taryaad Saramsaasan in its glory, so great would my rule be. The world would bow before Kafasali and know that the Painted had returned to their place at Kartikarma's side.
But my brother ruined us, and I have had to be our salvation. My fool father had not saw fit to disinherit him, so who would I be to stop the poison from slipping into his goblet? Fate had killed him, as it almost killed our kingdom. I guided my nephew's realm, but his mother still plotted against me. It was her own fault that I was not there to snatch the snake from her bed. Her family call me a murderer, but it is they who have killed the kingdom of my father.
I will paint Kafasali red.
