Wane-Tender Harmoniarchy (magic school)
The magical traditions of Wane-Tenders have their roots far beyond the start of known histories, having been acknowledged as ancient even by the earliest surviving sources, but are often linked to the region of salt marshes that eventually became known as the Kashti Flats. Renowned for their healing and purification arts, the Wane-Tenders have been a common fixture in Aironoian and Kashiryan courts since immemorial, providing essential medical assistance and acting as royal physicians and advisors for as long as anyone can remember.
No less known is the outlook the Wane-Tenders hold on the eradication of pestilence and plague—an outlook that, in time, has led to the establishment of the Halite Temple and the Harmoniarchy, transforming the disparate but like-minded groups of physicians into an organized and influential priesthood that had sway over many a king and emperor. Above all else, they revere the supremacy of Light, refining the ever-shifting fractals of Sand into the all-encompassing purity of salt.
