Here lies the remains of Arthenax, the great Dragon who invaded and burned much of Aversaria for over a decade in the 5th century. Arthenax and her children appeared from the northeast several hundred years after the Aversarians believed dragons to have gone extinct, and proceeded to kill Aautokratir Denos before demanding fealty from the people of Aversaria. Arthenax and her children were only cut down after intervention by the Magi Aeliadias, who was so powerful that she burned Arthenax with a flame so mighty that even the dragon was burned to ash. All except her bones, which have remained to this day.
