Blood Magic (concept)
Blood Magic is a nickname for many spells and methods of power generation from within the Living Magic umbrella. Blood Magi are defined by their use of blood and lifeforce to fuel their spells and interact with the world. This can take the form of using sacrifices of humans or animals or the ritualistic cutting of oneself.
While the Magical energy gained from draining plantlife is generally accepted to be deriving power from the plant's lifeblood, it is generally not considered a form of Blood Magic.
