Gudugwrāt, the Rogue Storm (concept)
Gudugwrāt, the Rogue Storm, is an enormous hurricane that appears periodically in the Kashiryan Gulf, originating in the center, then slowly spiraling outward to the coast. Its distinctive thick purple clouds bring torrential wind and hail, as well as lightning strikes that can level entire villages. The storm lasts from several days to several weeks, with occurrences every two to three years. As Gudugwrāt rolls in, the water recedes from the coast and exposes the sea floor. Expeditions into the storm are common, from searching for lost treasures of the deep to collecting Wrātcrystals before they are swallowed by the sea.
