This is a Dragon: one of the greatest Godtouched Creatures to ever tread upon Aeras. Dragons once ruled over land and sky, but were seemingly wiped out just after the War of the Thousand Dragons, thus consigning them to myth and legend.
This particular creature is covered in scales of sapphire, a species known for its mastery over Water.
