Blue Robe Revolt (concept)
A significant event in Eastern Aironoi during the waning years of the Imperial Civil War, the Blue Robe Revolt erupted in the Mayikprolollan Aironoiakaan, the magical academy set up by Axiaothea. Dissenting students and faculty led by Magister Velaras 'Bleak Speaker' Kreyshati refused to continue researching Self-Replicating Blood Magic and performed a coup of the academy's ruling council. They were soon joined by several deserters, as well as two entire Legions mostly comprised of former rebels from the Three Cities War.
Axiaothea ordered four legions stationed at the Kashiyran border to immediately assault the academy. However, as soon as they marched southward, Kashiryan irregulars led by Akhasar attacked from the rear, destroying all four legions. An enraged Axiaothea, who was occupied in the war, tasked the mercenary warlord Agos Slyn to lead fifteen legions in the Retributive March, which was initally successful in pacifying a third of the rebelling provinces. Unfortunately, the legions were later ambushed by the sudden appearance of Jajak Otroka's horde, leading to the Battle of Baytor's Grave.
The near destruction of fifteen legions caused the revolt to spiral out of control, leading Agos Slyn to mount a desperate assault on the Aironoiakaan. The revolt came to an end a few days after the initial battle due to Frodbrokna, with most of the battling forces consumed by the conflagration.
