Aervalr (concept)
Aervalr is the sole moon of Aeras, created from a fragment of Aersanon's mind to comfort Their children through the dark of the night. In the countless ages since, it has continued its path nearly unchanging, lending power to Dead Magi, who are known as Moon Magi in some regions as a result. The shifting of its phases have a profound effect on these Magi, and their power waxes and wanes with the moon's phases.
Many would assume that something as distant as Aervalr would be unaffected by the affairs of humankind, but Frodbrokna has proven otherwise. As reality once more shook, the moon shattered, and its pieces now rain down upon Aeras, causing devastation wherever they land.
